What does our team do?
We are a team qualified to the European CanSat competition announced by the European Space Agency. In this competition we have to make a model-satelite as big as a soft-drink can. It measured among other things, air pressure, temperature, acceleration, velocity and height.
It contained three biological experiment. The first one measured the effects of acceleration on pressure, while the second was Pitot tube speed measurement. The third one that we launched some fruit flies (Drosophila). In short, but if you are interested, visit www.esa.int/Education/CanSat , or write a message to us! |
Dr. István Seres
(mentor)
I’m Dr. István Seres, physics teacher at Saint Stephen University and at the Reformed Church School of Gödöllő.Along with the process of making physics more popular and giving experimental lectures, I’ve been helping talented students. In the topics of physics and leading engineering development related student projects for a long time. My students took part in many kinds of projects, from an automated medicine feeder to an ultrasonic device which checks the overtakings of cyclists. I believe, that popularizing renewable energy types is highly needed. One of the researching fields which bounds to them is solar energy, mainly solar panel systems created many projects.
Kristóf TóthI'm Kristóf Tóth, 11th. This year I started the elective course of physics, this is my favorite subject, because through physics we get to know how the world works.
I am also interested in math and information technology. I like to make fun contraptions, implement my ideas, I'm a "maker". I would like to be an electrical engineer who designs and builds electronic devices. In the team, we work on the electronic parts with Marci Reményi and Marci Krasznai. I also help the others in 3D design. One of our goals is to learn new things that we can use in the future. In addition, we can also learn how to organize the most effective team while enjoying the work and how a real project works which was made from of nothing. |
Márton ReményiI’m Márton Reményi, 10th grader.
I’m interested in ICT, mostly in software development because this makes a given machine working. In the team I work with Kristóf Tóth and Márton Krasznai on the electronics and programming. A great advantage of CanSat is that we can get knowledge from many different fields which we can use later. |
I'm Botond Bán, 10th grade student. I've always been fond of physics, I liked experimenting in general and flying (or even space exploration) is very close to my heart.
Peti asked for a biological experiment and so I got into this field of the project which I am responsible until this day. I really like the concepts of the CanSat competition. I’ve never heard about it before and now I feel lucky to be involved. |
I’m Márton Krasznai, a 10th grader from the Reformed Church School of Gödöllő.
I like doing sport and experimenting with the limits of physics because of that. CanSat gives me the perfect opportunity because it makes an environment for this which I thought it can’t just be made on your own. I hope we will succeed at the competition. Good luck GRLsat! |
Csenge Napsugár DénesI'm Csenge Napsugár Dénes, 17 years old, a 11th grade student from the Reformed Church School of Gödöllő.
My favourite subject is physics and I play volleyball in my free time. I take part in the teamwork everywhere I can, and I also manage the team’s Instagram profile. |
Péter Álmos UnyiI’m Péter Álmos Unyi, a 10th grade student.
I’m the team’s marketing organizer, which means that I handle the tasks of finding sponsors managing contacts and informing others about our project. This also means PR activity. I also like physics as well as ICT. Beside that, I make films and take photos. I’m highly interested in the research of Mars and Mars related news. |
